Marvel at the Microscopic World of Atom Smashing Art

Check out the incredible atomic art now on display at the Louisiana Art & Science Museum! Made by Alyce Rothlein Simon, these radical works of art were made with the use of a particle accelerator, a machine historically referred to as "an atom smasher." Glowing with color, these spatial paintings capture the unseen microscopic world while encapsulating the awe of the celestial.

The Louisiana Art & Science Museum is hosting an intimate exhibition of her artistic vision, including pieces from her spatial paintings series, featuring illuminated sheets of acrylic that have been irradiated and stained, and her diverse Tree of Life series, made of clear, acrylic objects that contain embedded tree-shaped fractures. It’s a powerful exhibit that you won’t want to miss!

Although we provide the utmost luxury at The Crossing Apartments in Denham Springs, Louisiana, we realize that you need to get out and socialize with those in your surrounding community. This event gives you the chance to do just that! Don’t hesitate to attend on Saturday!
