Synthpop Duo, Erasure, Is Bringing Their World Be Gone Tour to Kansas City
Erasure, created in 1985, is a synthpop duo from London, England that is made up of singer and songwriter Andy Bell and keyboardist Vince Clarke. The duo first got attention for their music with their debut single "Who Needs Love Like That", following on from their fourth single release of "Sometimes".
Together they became hugely successful in the mid-1990s and made it to the UK Singles Chart. They received 24 Top 40 hits in the UK in a row, as well as 3 Top 20 hits in the US. These included their songs "A Little Respect", "Chains of Love" and "Always".
After releasing their seventeenth studio able “World Be Gone” and announcing the World Be Gone tour, Erasure will be making at stop at Uptown Theater on Wednesday, August 1. We look forward to seeing you there for a fun-filled night!
